A deep, dynamic massage of the adipose tissue beneath the skin to release fatty deposits, soften tissues and activate blood and lymph circulation.

Anti-cellulite massage at Clinique Naturelle with Caroline Matthey (ASCA and RME) and Hanadi Souiai (ASCA).

Manual palpating and rolling

Developed by physiotherapists, anti-cellulite manual massage is made up of different manual massage techniques, the best-known of which involves forming a fold of skin and cellulite with the fingers and rolling it to break up fatty deposits lodged under the skin.

Cellulite is formed by water-logged fat cells that form the puffy appearance known as "orange peel skin" or "capitons". Manual Palper-Rouler decongests engorged areas, softening tissues and activating blood and lymph circulation to eliminate and destock fatty deposits.

The therapist also uses the cupping technique to activate blood circulation on the back of the thighs (especially for people who spend a lot of time in a seated position) to facilitate tissue detachment and properly revascularize compressed areas.

The benefits of manual palpating and rolling

  • Reduces tissue congestion and water retention
  • Releases accumulated waste and toxins
  • Relieves swollen legs caused by edema
