MICROKINESITHERAPY CONSULTATION

Microkinésithérapie

In microkinesitherapy, no particular problem is targeted.

The therapist seeks to eliminate all the disorders/blockages that our body has stored following light or heavy traumas.

There is no psychological exchange with the therapist on the emotional aspects even if the therapist can date and name the trauma found.

« My job is to use a “micropalpation” technique to find the cause (s) (etiologies) of the symptoms and eliminate them through light stimulation on the body, thus, triggering the repair mechanisms. Microkinesitherapy is intended to be both curative and preventive to ensure daily well-being for everyone. »

  • Opposition, nervousness, overexcitement

Microkinesitherapy for athletes

Microkinesitherapy has been able to demonstrate, through numerous evaluations carried out in sports, its effectiveness in reducing injuries, reducing post-traumatic recovery time and reducing the number of days of absence from matches.

Microkinesitherapy is a precious ally in sport where the mental aspect makes a difference to performance.

Microkinesitherapists have been following professional and high-level sports teams for several years, but the technique is not restricted to champions, it is suitable for any athlete who wants to enjoy sport while preserving his body.

This manual technique contributes to well-being by helping the body eliminate the traces of physical and emotional aggressions accumulated during our life.

What is Microkinesitherapy?

Microkinesitherapy is a complementary therapy. Initiated in the 1980s by physiotherapists Daniel Grosjean and Patrice Benini, this practice continues to evolve.

Microkinesitherapy takes into account the whole body and the person. It identifies by a specific manual technique called micropalpation, the cause or causes (etiologies) of the symptoms at the origin of the consultation and induces their elimination by means of slight stimulation of body, triggering the repair mechanisms.

Microkinesitherapy is curative and preventive.

Suitable for all ages of life, its wide range of indications makes it a first quality tool.
Recent experiments on this subject have demonstrated its effectiveness and gradually increases its scientific validation which, associated with numerous testimonials and positive feedback from patients, give it a prominent place in the fields of health and well-being.

The principles of microkinesitherapy

1- The repair mechanism

Every day, your body, like any living organism, has to adapt, defend and repair itself against external aggressions, whether viral, environmental, traumatic or emotional.

This natural capacity for self-repair or self-healing occurs silently before we even realizing it. Wounds heal, bones heal, infectious agents are eliminated, and emotional shocks are evacuated.

2- Tissue memory

Memory appears when the self-repair mechanism is not working.

If the aggression is greater than the defenses possibilities poorly identified by the organism or if it is weakened, memorization of the aggression is established, which leads to an alteration of the vitality of the body tissue concerned, otherwise known as a “pathogenic scar”.

The accumulation of these memories will induce the appearance in more or less long term of symptoms, even of pathologies.

3- Micropalpation

Micropalpation, a specific palpation technique, will allow the therapist to assess the state of functioning and the degree of vitality of the tissues. Indeed, the tissues of our body are animated by a particular rhythm called “primary respiratory movement” in osteopathy or “rhythmic palpatory manifestation” in microkinesitherapy.

The pathogenic scar is manifested by the loss of this particular mobility of the tissue, and the therapist by perceives of a sensation of restriction between his hands.

4- Re-information

Re-information is the practitioner’s action on your body. It is the stimulation brought to your body, and especially the information it contains that will allow the resumption of tissue mobility, and the elimination of these pathogenic memories or scars.

Microkinesitherapy is explored in this article "Microkinesitherapy, pregnancy and child..."

It is now possible to affirm that the development of the fetus is also linked to the feelings of the mother.

Thanks to a study published by the website The Conversation, conducted by two researchers from the University of Rennes, proof has been provided that the emotions and psychological state of the mother have a major role in the evolutionary process of the baby. In utero, the developing fetus learns about the outside world and shapes itself thanks to this bond forged at conception.

What's the difference between microkinesitherapy and kinesiology?

Their respective practices are different:

In microkinesitherapy, the therapist performs micropalpation of the body (the patient lies on his or her back, dressed), while in kinesiology, the therapist performs muscle tests and then uses different techniques depending on the problem being addressed.

Regarding the objective of these therapies :

In microkinesitherapy, no specific problem is targeted. The therapist seeks to eliminate all the disorders/blockages that our body has accumulated as a result of light or heavy trauma. There is no psychological exchange with the therapist on emotional aspects, even if the latter can date and name the trauma found.

The kinesiotherapist works on a specific disorder/blockage that the patient has explained to him/her. The origin of the blockage is sought through muscle tests, to which the body responds. Once the origin has been found, the therapist performs various techniques to free the patient from the blockage.
