Microkinesitherapy does not target any particular problem.

The therapist seeks to eliminate all the disorders/blockages that our body has stored up as a result of light or heavy trauma.

There is no psychological exchange with the therapist on emotional aspects, even if the therapist can date and name the trauma found.

My job is to use a "micropalpation" technique to identify the cause(s) (etiology) of the symptoms at the origin of the consultation, and to induce their elimination by means of light stimulation of the body, triggering the repair mechanisms.
Microkinesitherapy aims to be both curative and preventive, to ensure well-being in everyday life.

When should you consult a micro-physiotherapist?

Microkinesitherapy is indicated at all stages of life and has a very wide field of action.

For adults

  • Osteoarticular or muscular trauma: torticollis, lumbago, tears, sprains, chronic pain, etc.
  • Certain organ dysfunctions: colopathy, gastritis, endometriosis, infertility, asthma, food intolerances, etc.
  • All nervous disorders : sleep disordersmigraines, nervousness, anxietydermatological disorders, etc.
  • Pregnancy and postpartum
  • Weight loss
  • Etc.

For children

Feel free to bring small toys.

Microkinesitherapy is also indicated for children, especially infants. Indications for treatment include :

  • Sleep disturbances
  • Eczema
  • Congenital torticollis
  • Colitis
  • Gastric reflux
  • Concentration problems
  • Opposition
  • Nervousness, overexcitement
  • Etc.

Microkinesitherapy for athletes

Numerous evaluations carried out in the sports world have demonstrated the effectiveness of micro-physiotherapy in reducing injuries, post-traumatic recovery time and the number of days missed from matches.

Microkinesitherapy is a precious ally in sport, where the mental aspect makes all the difference to performance. Microphysiotherapists have been working with professional teams and top-level athletes for many years, but the technique is not reserved for champions: it is suitable for all athletes who want to enjoy themselves while preserving their bodies.

Manual techniquecontributing to health and well-being by helping the body to eliminate the traces of physical and emotional aggressions accumulated over the course of a lifetime.

What is microkinesitherapy?

Microkinesitherapy is a complementary therapy. Initiated in the 1980s by physiotherapists Daniel Grosjean and Patrice Benini, the practice continues to evolve.

Microkinesitherapy takes into account the whole organism and the whole person. Using a specific manual technique called micropalpation, it identifies the cause(s) (etiology) of the symptoms at the origin of the consultation, and induces their elimination through light stimulation of the body, triggering repair mechanisms.

Microkinesitherapy is both curative and preventive.

Suitable for all stages of life, its wide range of indications makes it a first-rate tool.

Recent experiments with microkinesitherapy have demonstrated its effectiveness and are gradually increasing its scientific validation, which, combined with daily testimonials and positive feedback from patients, give it a prime position in the fields of health and well-being.

The principles of micro-physiotherapy

1- The repair mechanism

Every day, your body, like all living organisms, adapts, defends and repairs itself in the face of external aggressions, whether viral, environmental, traumatic or emotional.

This natural capacity for self-repair or self-healing takes place silently, without us even noticing. Wounds heal, bones knit together, infectious agents are eliminated, and emotional shocks evacuated.

2- Tissue memory

Tissue memory appears when the self-repair mechanism has failed.

If the aggression is greater than the body's ability to defend itself, or if it is poorly identified by the organism, or if the organism is weakened, a memory of the aggression is established, resulting in an alteration in the vitality of the body tissue concerned, a kind of memory of the event, otherwise known as "pathogenic scarring".

The accumulation of these memories will lead to the appearance of symptoms, or even pathologies, over the long term.

Tissue memory

3- Micropalpation

Micropalpation, a specific palpatory technique, enables the therapist to assess the functioning and vitality of tissues. Indeed, the tissues of our body are animated by a particular rhythm called "primary respiratory movement" in osteopathy, or "palpatory rhythmic manifestation" in microkinesitherapy.

Pathogenic scarring manifests itself in the loss of this natural and particular mobility of the tissue, and for the therapist results in the perception of a sensation of restriction between his hands.

4- Re-information

Re-information is the practitioner's action on your body. It's the stimulation provided to your organism, and above all the information it contains, that will enable tissue mobility to resume, translating the elimination of these pathogenic memories or scars.

Microkinesitherapy is discussed in this article "Microkinesitherapy, pregnancy and child...".

It is now possible to affirm that the development of the fetus is also linked to the mother's feelings.

A study published by The Conversation, conducted by two researchers at the University of Rennes, has shown that the mother's emotions and psychological state play a major role in the baby's development. In utero, the developing fetus learns about the outside world and shapes itself thanks to this bond forged from the moment of conception.

What's the difference between microkinesitherapy and kinesiology?

Their respective practices are different:

Microkinesitherapy involves micropalpation of the body (the patient lies on his or her back, dressed), while in kinesiology, the therapist performs muscle tests and then uses different techniques depending on the problem being addressed.

Regarding the objective of these therapies:

Microkinesitherapy does not target any particular problem. The therapist seeks to eliminate all the disorders/blockages that our body has stored up as a result of light or heavy trauma. There is no psychological exchange with the therapist on emotional aspects, even if the latter can date and name the trauma found.

The kinesiotherapist works on a specific disorder/blockage that the patient has explained to him/her. The therapist searches for the origin of the blockage, using muscle tests to which the body responds. Once the origin has been found, the therapist performs various techniques to free the patient from the blockage.
