A massage entirely adapted to each child
Every child is unique, which is why our massages are entirely personalized according to the child's age, specific needs and, above all, how he or she feels at the time.
The therapist adapts the touch, rhythm and zones worked on, respecting the child's reactions and limits.
The aim is to offer a tailor-made moment of well-being, respecting the body, rhythm and sensitivity of each individual.

Objectives of pediatric massage
Pediatric massage meets a variety of needs, depending on the age, experience and sensitivity of each child.
It is both a support in daily life (sleep, stress, pain...) and a tool to accompany you in key stages of growth.
Main objectives :
- Soothe tension (physical or emotional)
- Secure the child with a gentle touch
- Promote body anchoring and self-awareness
- Support for sensitive periods (teething, puberty, change of environment...)
- Creating a space for deep relaxation
Therapeutic massage
Therapeutic massage is designed for children with specific functional problems: difficult digestion, muscular pain, recurrent stomach aches, disturbed sleep, postural tension...
It aims to relieve a concrete discomfort while offering a moment of presence and listening to the body. The therapist can focus on specific areas (stomach, back, feet...), using appropriate gestures to release tension or boost circulation.
This type of massage is particularly recommended for children suffering from :
- Digestive disorders (constipation, colic)
- Growing pains
- Chronic fatigue or restlessness
- Somatized stress (tics, twitching, etc.)
Relaxing massage
Relaxation massage is a gentle, reassuring and relaxing treatment that invites children to refocus, release tension and soothe themselves. It is not directly therapeutic, but has a profound effect on overall and emotional well-being.
Through enveloping, slow, reassuring gestures, it promotes relaxation of the body, regulation of the nervous system and reconnection with oneself in a reassuring environment.
This massage is particularly recommended for children with :
- High emotional sensitivity
- Daily stress (school rhythm, separation, sensory overload)
- Sleep disorders
- A need for comfort or calm after a difficult period

The benefits of massage for children
- Reduces stress and nervousness
- Improved sleep and falling asleep
- Relief of muscular or abdominal pain
- Development of concentration and attention
- Improved body awareness and emotional regulation
- Increased self-confidence and inner calm
The techniques used
Each massage session is tailored to the child's age, needs and sensitivity:
- Gentle gestures: effleurage, smoothing, light pressure
- Possibility of working on targeted areas: stomach, back, feet...
- Use of organic, neutral vegetable oils free of essential oils
- Presence of reassuring elements: comforter, soft music, small sensory games
A time is set aside before the session to understand the child's needs and answer parents' questions.
Duration and support
From 3 months to 12 years: sessions last 30 minutes.
A parent must be present to reassure the child and create a framework of trust.
From age 12: sessions last 1 hour. The presence of a parent at the beginning and end of the session is recommended, depending on the child's age and needs.
The teenager may or may not choose to be accompanied by a parent during the session. If he or she objects, the parents must complete and sign a consent form.
Respect for the child's rhythm, feelings and comfort is at the heart of every session. Nothing is ever imposed.
Contraindications
To ensure the child's safety and well-being, there are certain situations in which a massage session must be postponed or avoided:
- Ongoing fever or infectious disease: massage could further strain the body or encourage the spread of infection.
- Localized or generalized skin affections: in the case of redness, rashes, wounds or any active dermatological pathology, massage is contraindicated so as not to aggravate the situation or cause discomfort.
- Child's refusal or discomfort : massage is based on trust and respect. If the child is unwilling or uncomfortable with physical contact, the session will not take place. Listening to the child's limits is our priority.
Each situation is carefully assessed, and a preliminary discussion with the parents enables us to adapt the support or reschedule the session if necessary.
Advice and awareness-raising
For babies under 3 months of age, Sandrine Rousseau offers dedicated sessions for parents, focusing on raising awareness of touch andlearning the first gestures.
The aim is to help parents create a reassuring tactile bond with their newborn, by showing them how to perform gentle massages or simple mobilizations at home, while respecting the baby's rhythm and sensitivity.
These moments of exchange are also an opportunity to answer questions and gain confidence in the parent-baby bodily relationship.
