Qi Gong literally means "the work of vital energy". This 2000-year-old Chinese discipline is based on a holistic vision of life.

Qi Gong movements are gentle and slow, and are combined with breathing, visualization and meditation techniques . Consciousness is directed inward to feel and act on the flow of energy. Gradually, we learn to master our Qi "vital energy".

Why practice Qi Gong?

It allows you to :

  • Boosting immunity: immunity depends directly on the level of energy in the body. By increasing it, we boost our immune system.
  • Increase vitality: Our body's energy reserves increase with the practice of Qi Gong.
  • Improving mental capacity: Some Qi Gong exercises are particularly aimed at developing brain energy. The aim is to improve concentration, memory, creativity and so on.
  • Gaining physical strength : Qi circulation improves with practice, allowing it to reach fascias and muscles more easily, making the body more toned.
  • Work on emotional balance: in Chinese medicine, each emotion belongs to an organ. Using various techniques such as visualization, we learn to identify and neutralize the negative emotions stored by certain organs, and to transform them into positive emotions.

Classes are taught by Eric

Eric has been practicing Qi Gong daily for 12 years. On a constant inner quest, he has learned, notably in China, from eminent teachers from the Taoist and Buddhist traditions. His practice has contributed in large part to his understanding of traditional Chinese medicine, which requires a fine sensitivity to Qi.

Eric's Qi Gong methods

Qi Gong - The 6 therapeutic sounds method

As traditional Chinese medicine teaches, harmonizing energies is central to the development of vital energy. This method combines sound emissions with movements.
The sounds emitted vibrate the energy of the various organs, and the movements are designed to activate each of the twelve meridians.
The aim is to evacuate accumulated emotions such as stress, anger or sadness, so that the organs can regain harmonious energy. This Qi Gong is taught in Chinese hospitals to assist in the remission of certain illnesses such as diabetes or hyperthyroidism.
The class begins with a series of Qi Gong warm-ups and stretches, followed by the 6 therapeutic sounds.
